Privacy Policy
Last updated: [DATE]. A2 Creative, Inc. (DBA "3D Gloop!"), 540 Lewis & Clark Blvd, East Alton, IL 62024. Questions or requests: hello@3dgloop.com.
The short, human version: we collect what we need to sell you glue and ship it to you. We don't sell your data, we don't train public AI models with it, and we don't hand it to anyone without legal process. We are an American company operating under American law, on American soil. The Robot Overlords scan orders, not souls.
What we collect
- Order information: name, shipping/billing address, email, phone, and purchase details... because packages need destinations.
- Payment information: processed by our payment processor [confirm: processor name]; we do not store full card numbers.
- Newsletter signups: your email address, via our mass email provider (Mailchimp).
- Site analytics: [confirm: Squarespace built-in analytics / other]; standard cookies for cart and login functionality.
- Correspondence: emails you send us (a human reads them).
Automated processing & AI (the A.A.R.O.N. disclosure)
We use locally run AI tools, and occasionally privately contracted AI services, to help parse and validate orders... including flagging potentially invalid shipping addresses. When an address is flagged, you get an email from hello@3dgloop.com and a human-reviewable hold, not an automated rejection. Certain customer-identifiable data, such as your name, shipping address, and phone number, may be used to verify the shipping address provided.
Where contracted AI services are used, our agreements with those providers require that our data remains private and is not used to train their models.
Internal research (future): we may vectorize order information and support emails for internal search, categorization, and research, so our systems can route and answer support requests better. We may even train our own internal models on our own correspondence (yes, we are literally training our Robot Overlords). This is strictly internal, used to run the store and support you better... any such models are never sold, published, or made available outside the company.
What we do with it
Fulfill orders, provide support, send the newsletter you asked for, run and improve the store, and comply with the law (tax records, etc.). That's the list.
What we DON'T do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your information is not used to train publicly available LLMs or AI models. We share it only with the services required to run the store, such as (but not limited to): payment processing, shipping carriers and insurance (for claims), our eCommerce platform (Squarespace), and our mass email provider (Mailchimp).
Jurisdiction & legal requests
We are a United States company, adhering to United States law, operating on United States soil. Laws of other jurisdictions that do not apply to us... including the GDPR and laws associated with it... are outside our purview and will not be applied, in part or in full. We do not target, market to, or offer services within the EU/EEA. EU customers may purchase our products, but do so with the explicit knowledge that they are conducting commerce with a US company not bound by their laws or practices. Their use of our website or newsletter, interaction with our staff, or purchase of our products shall qualify as consent and acceptance of these aforementioned terms.
We will not provide private data to law enforcement, of any form, outside of a legally binding court order, warrant, or equivalent compulsory legal process. Get a warrant.
If we are compelled to provide your data, we will share with you a copy of what was provided, when it was requested, and who it went to... at the time we are forced to provide it, unless a court order legally prevents us from telling you.
Your choices & rights
Unsubscribe from the newsletter anytime (one click, no guilt trip... okay, a small guilt trip from the Overlords). Email hello@3dgloop.com to request a copy of your personal data, such as your order history or copies of emails you've exchanged with us.
A note on deletion: order records and emails sent to us or our staff are business records, and we do not delete them upon request... the exception being email that was clearly intended for another company or individual (misdirected mail is deleted on notice). Order history is retained for taxes, warranty service, safety traceability (bottle serial numbers), and Foundational Supporter lifetime-discount obligations. ⚠attorney: reconcile with CCPA/CPRA deletion rights if California thresholds apply; likely needs "except to the extent required by applicable US law."
Retention & security
We keep order records as long as required for taxes, warranty service, and the Foundational Supporter lifetime-discount obligations. Access to customer data is limited to the team members who need it.
Children
Our products and site are intended for adults over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
