Have you ever tried to glue your PLA 3D prints together? CA glue? Epoxy? Convoluted friction/soldering-iron welding? Let us guess... you've had something glued together with these inferior adhesives only to have the bond break. We've been there, and that's exactly why PLA Gloop! exists.

PLA Gloop! is engineered from the ground up for one job: welding PLA to PLA with a bond stronger than the printed plastic itself. Stronger than CA glue, stronger than epoxy, heck... stronger than PLA! It works on PLA blends too (PLA+, silk, lightweight, PLA-CF), as long as the base resin is mostly PLA.

How does the Science Sauce work? 3D Gloop! is a hybrid adhesive... part solvent cement, part reactive glue, all science. First, the carrier solvents gently dissolve the surface of your print. Then the monomer complex gets to work: as the solvent evaporates, it chemically cures and crosslinks directly INTO the plastic. You're not sticking two parts together, you're welding them into one. That's why a proper Gloop! joint is stronger than the plastic around it, and why super glue (a weak mechanical bond wearing a lab coat) can't compete. It's Science! Not Magic… (the full nerd cut)

Using it is printed on the jar: sand both mating surfaces, slather that Science Sauce on BOTH of them, squeeze together with a slight twist, clamp for 15 minutes, and full POWER arrives in 24-ish hours. New to Gloop!? The Knowledge Base has the complete training program, videos included.

A few notes about working with PLA Gloop!

• Shake well (about 30 seconds), then let the bottle settle a couple of minutes before opening... away from your face.

• Work quickly: you've got 30-60 seconds of open time once it's applied. Cold Gloop! buys you extra seconds.

• Clamps are your friend. So is patience: full cure takes up to 24 hours.

• Squeeze-out around the seam is a GOOD sign. Don't wipe it... let it dry and slice it off (here's how).

• Your Gloop! has a shelf life. While the bonds of Gloop! may last forever, its very existence in this realm is only temporary at best... use it within 90 days of opening, and store it in its containment vessel (that's the retail box, DO NOT DISCARD).
